When you have any of the following issues, or other printing problems, it is likely you will need to clean your printer:
- Faded Print
- Patchy Print/Text
- Lines Printing on Label
- Labels not Feeding properly
If you have DissolveMark labels (DTDM), this could be another reason you are seeing faded/patchy print. If cleaning your print head does not solve the issue, please speak to your sales rep about using an alternate material.

- Open the printer and roll the labels back.
- Take an Alcohol swab out of a first aid kit or take an Alcohol prep pad and run it along the print head several times.
- Then take the same swab and run it along the Rubber Roller Bar one time then close the lid without any labels fed through. Then open the printer and rub the swab along the roller bar again. Then repeat until the Rubber Roller Bar is clean.
