When adding a hidden or Non Broadcasting WiFi Network you have to check the “Advanced Options” checkbox. For whatever reason, this causes the new network to show up in the wireless settings after adding.
Then, when you attempt to locate the network name in the WiFi screen in the tablet's O/S Settings area. the network recently added will be available for selection and depending on the security type that is set on the network you may be prompted for a password.
If the advanced options checkbox is unselected, the “added” network does not display in the wireless settings screen.
