Along with this major architectural upgrade, there are a number of improvements and fixes coming with this release, including page number printing on labels, special character handling, YouTube video formatting, and date and time customization.

New Features and Enhancements Video Tutorial
Customizable Date and Time Formats. Now a user can customize their date and time display formats in the MenuPilot application based on a setting enabled in MenuCommand at the corporate level. The default date and time display for the application is MM/DD/YY and 24-hr format. If the setting is enabled in MenuCommand, a user can override the displayed Date and Time formats. The MenuPilot application will apply the settings based on the following priority: store settings if saved, franchise settings if there are no store settings, corporate settings if there are no franchise settings, and default settings if no corporate settings exist.

Print Counter on Labels. Now a user can track the current print iteration and total print quantity for a job in both preview and print based on a setting enabled in MenuCommand and when labels contain a footer design with a {{currentPrint}}/{{totalPrint}} placeholder.

Batch Search on Print. Now a user can search for a batch quickly on the batch print list screen by typing part of its name. No more scrolling through the entire list to find what they were looking for.

Search on Layout Settings and Layout Mapping. Users with permission to view and edit item print settings can now search for a layout when on Layout Settings under Item Details. Users with permission to view and edit Print System Configuration can now search across mappings when on Settings > Print System Configuration

User Profile Design. The design for the User Profile dropdown on the right-hand side has been updated to include server location. The left-hand side section for user details has been removed.

Category and Subcategory Colors. Inconsistencies have now been resolved where Category and Subcategory colors were not properly reflecting the associated Item color.

Special Characters in Labels. Now users should be able to include special characters (<=, >=, <, ^, ~) in their label content and it should not throw off the print execution.

YouTube URLs. The YouTube URL handling functionality within the application has been updated to ensure all supported URL formats, including shortened YouTube URLs (ex: ' youtu.be ') are processed correctly inside the WebView and will load within MenuPilot
