This release is focused on delivering an architectural upgrade that will optimize our application performance and uptime. Along with this major architectural upgrade, there are a number of improvements and fixes coming with this release, including page number printing on labels, date and time customization, and additional import-export functionality.
| New Features and Enhancements | Video Tutorial |
|---|---|
| Print Counter on Labels. Now in MenuCommand App and Default Settings, a user can turn on the ability to track the current print iteration and total print quantity for a job in both preview and print in MenuPilot. By default, this setting will be disabled. | |
| Print Job Optimization. With the introduction of print counters on labels, each label that is getting sent to the printer is unique. Instead of sending each unique print one by one to the printer, admins can set a threshold for how many unique prints can get sent in one go to a printer. The default threshold is set to 5. | |
| User Profile Design. The design for the User Profile dropdown on the right-hand side has been updated to include role details (Admin, Corporate, Franchise, Store) and server location. The left-hand side section for user details has been removed. | |
Export and Import Functionality. Corporate Users can now bulk export and import items mapped to prepstages and items mapped to label layouts. | |
| Performance Optimization. MenuCommand performance has been optimized to better handle situations such as long-running or heavy data transfers and avoid login failures and timeouts. |
