DayMark Menu Command and Nutritics Integration
Whenever possible, start by building your recipe in Nutritics and then import into Menu Command. However, if items are already created in Menu Command and you now wish to utilize Nutritics to calculate nutritional values you can export the item to create a “placeholder” in Nutritics where you can go and add ingredients.
Please note that one of the above methods must be used to ensure that there is a “connection” between the item in Nutritics and the item in Menu Command.
Importing new items from Nutritics or Updating existing items with new nutritional information:
- Build your recipe in the Nutritics system.
-
In Menu Command, locate the Sync Nutritics Items button in the Items tab of Menu Data.
3. Change the Category in the next screen to NUTRITICS
4. You should then see the items you have created in Nutritics. Check the box next to the new item to be imported OR select the existing item that needs to be updated.
5. Click on the Import from Nutritics button at the top.
6. Select YES on the next pop up to confirm that you do want to perform this action.
7. Receive the success box. Newly added items will appear in Menu Command and updated items will now show updated nutritional information.
8. FOR NEW ITEMS: To see the items on Menu Pilot you will need to go onto the item and enable it as well as changing the category:
Change to appropriate Category and Enable. Then hit SAVE at the bottom.
Exporting Items into Nutritics
