- Printers can be damaged if dropped, compressed, punctured, bent, exposed to high temperatures or placed in contact with liquid. Printers should be inspected before each use for signs of damage.
- Printer should not be used if water or other liquid spills into the product as this may result in electrocution, fire or other injury.
- Printer should not be used if exterior casing is warped, bent, punctured or bulging as this may result in electrocution, fire or other injury.
- Do not press your hands or fingers against the cutter when removing printed paper or loading/replacing roll paper due to the potential for injury.
- Cables can be damaged due to improper use, twisting, bending as well as over time and should be inspected prior to each use for signs of damage.
- Do not use the power cable if it is damaged due to risk of fire or electrocution.
- Do not use the power plug if there is dust or foreign matter attached.
- In the following cases, immediately unplug and contact the CMC Service Center for advice:
- If the product emits smoke, a strange odor, or unusual noise.
- If water or other liquid spills into the product.
- If the product is too hot to touch or the case is deformed.
- Printer should be repaired by an authorized service provider only.
- Do not attempt to open printer casing or perform repairs as this may result in damage to the printer or injury.
- Do not attempt to access or change printer battery as this can cause damage to the battery which may result in overheating or injury.
- Printer should only be utilized with approved accessories.
- Use of incompatible power or USB cords may result in damage to the printer or injury.
- Do not use the product with any power supply or voltage other than the ones specified.
- Do not connect cables in ways other than those mentioned in the manual.
- Multiple, excessive loads on the power outlet (wall outlet) should not be used due to the risk of fire.
- Printer and accessories should not be used in or near water or handled while hands are wet due to risk of electrocution.
- The inside of the printer should only be accessed/touched as described in the user manual to prevent electrocution or other injury.
- Do not put your hands between the cover and the body of the product when opening/closing the cover to prevent pinching injury.
- Product should not be disassembled or modified due to potential risk for fire, electrocution or other injury.
- To prevent fire and possible injury, printers should not be utilized near or stored with or on flammable substances.
- Do not use this product where flammable fumes from gasoline, benzine, thinner, or other flammable liquids may be in the air.
- Do not use aerosol sprayers containing flammable gas inside or around the product.
- Do not cover the product with cloth or plastic or place the product in locations subject to high levels of humidity or dust.
- Do not allow foreign objects or flammable objects to fall into the product.
- Printer utilizes radio signals to connect with Bluetooth and can impact the functioning of other equipment.
- Printers should not be utilized in areas with posted safety restrictions for wireless devices.
- Printers should not be utilized in areas where the electromagnetic field may cause interference for medical devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators.
- Setup, handle or operate the product in compliance with the following guidelines to avoid property damage or malfunction:
- Setup the product on a firm, stable, horizontal surface.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.
- Never stand or lean on the product.
- Never attempt to repair the product yourself.
- Product should never be left to charge unmonitored on a flammable surface.
- Unplug this product before leaving it unused for an extended period.
INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT: Acknowledging the importance of complying fully with the above product safety warnings and guidelines, by removing the product from its packaging, you are agreeing to the following:
You represent and warrant to CMC Group, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, “CMC”), that you and your employees and representatives will fully comply with the safety warnings and guidelines set forth above (collectively, the “Safety Warnings”).
You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless CMC, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents, from and against all losses, demands, actions, suits, claims, or proceedings, including all court costs, attorneys’ fees, and all other expenses of defense or litigation related thereto, (a “Claim”) brought or commenced by any person, firm, corporation, governmental authority, or any other entity against CMC for the recovery of any damages for injury, illness, death of any person, damage to any property, or any economic loss, arising or alleged to arise out of, or caused by, or alleged to have been caused by, your noncompliance with the Safety Warnings.
You will provide CMC with prompt written notice of the Claim and permit CMC to control the defense, settlement, adjustment, or compromise of any Claim. You will have no authority to settle any Claim on CMC’s behalf.
